I'm a diehard LoZ fan that's been playing since I was barely able to speak - That being said, even though OoT was my first LoZ game, it is still one of my least favorites. But when I was younger? I liked it!
It did a looooot of good for the series, but I just don't think it holds up to modern day.

Dude, I've been fighting Win 11 since Sunday. The install process ended up taking about 6 hours, because of how my drive was partitioned. And then the install from my thumb drive was corrupt.
And I had to install Windows 10 to install 11, because the media creation tool doesn't work on Windows 10.
And I had to install Windows 10 to install 11, because the media creation tool doesn't work on Windows 10.

I've been seeing a lot of good will for the series again, and as someone who absolutely loves it to death since episode, it makes me happy that not everyone is obsessed with hating things.

Mass Effect is so crazy, because there's nuanced interspecies tensions that are talked about at length throughout the entire trilogy with the ultimate message being racism is bad... and then there's the entire way the whole franchise treats the Vorcha and the Batarians.

I think with the preface you gave with like KOTOR 2's RCM, Fallout New Vegas, and Oblivion's patches that's enough (for me) to look past it being the LE and calling it a Retrospective. Since at your core you're referencing the story, and mentioning changes.
