Oh, I forgot that it resets to Will if you die! You're right, that might not be worth it. I just remember Freedan's fireball being really helpful for this fight.

I know, right? I had the same experience revisiting this as an adult. XD

Just fyi, you can fight this boss as Freedan! I don't remember exactly but there is a roundabout path you can take to reach the boss arena as him!

This was one of my favorite games as a kid, and this boss stands out to me as THE difficulty spike. All of Mu was just way harder than anything that came before it.

I totally understand wanting to improve, art is a journey of continual improvement! But lemme just say that you are one of my favorite artists when it comes to internals, you're so good at them!

You are SO good at it! Especially at drawing spells being cast
November 24, 2025 at 8:41 PM
That seems very possible!

Thank you!

(Nevermind, apparently this is incorrect. There isn't an official Linux Thunderstore client, but there are some alternative clients for Linux that people use.)

That said, modding games can be iffy. I've been able to get some game mods running, but often have had to do some manual tweaking. I don't know about Thunderstore, but I just googled it and it looks like there's a Linux Thunderstore client?

If you want to give it a try, a really low-commitment path is to buy a second hard drive and install whatever flavor of Linux you want to try on that, and dual-boot. Then you can muck around in Linux all you want, and your original Windows install will be waiting there for you if you need it.

Yeah, I agree with this. I switched to Linux quite a while back, and I dual boot windows because I was worried that might be a problem, but I barely ever have to touch the Windows side of my PC. Steam makes almost every game just work, and Lutris can often cover any non-steam games

We lived about 3 states away when I was a kid, and we would go on a big trip to Disneyland California once a year, during the summer. We would drive for four days, stay with family, and usually go to the park for just one day.

What a cartoon hero!

I 100% agree, I love "plausibly deniable"-sized preds

Oooh, this looks so awesome! I love Klonoa

This is beautiful, I love it
November 15, 2025 at 6:54 PM
This is a very fun idea

Yeah! I had a big game project that I put a lot of time and effort into back in 2016 or so, and the fact that it was never completed has been a huge hit to my self-confidence -- I'm still trying to recover from it. But I'm trying to internalize this lesson! It's okay! I'm still getting better.
November 12, 2025 at 4:29 AM
This seems like it's probably exactly what happened!
November 12, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Gosh, this is a lesson I struggle with SO MUCH. I've got a multitude of failed game dev projects, and I've got to remember that I'm still getting that experience, even if those projects never get "finished."

Yesss, I love seeing your Khajiits
