it is a very historically funny situation because by all means you could argue that the falklanders are indigenous people to the islands (there was no long-term habitation beforehand past a couple abandoned stations from various powers) and that the war was Argentina doing colonialism

Ceaucescu moment

I got targeted recently by some scams targeting Chinese-Americans and this has caused me to have anxiety about speaking Chinese, since being bad at speaking Chinese provided partial protection during the scam (I literally couldn't communicate the info the scammers were trying to get out of me)
