I don't even refresh it every week - but I feed it before I bake with it. I think I'm supposed to be doing more than that (recently it had high acidity and I had to keep it out and feed it a bunch of times to correct it). I keep it in a 1-litre jar in the fridge, there's no smell at all 👍

Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.
