I feel like people are overfitting their 10-20 years of being mad at the enthusiast press here. There is now essentially an anti-enthusiast press, a cottage industry of YouTube SEO grifters whose goal is, indeed, to find something negative to post about any game that has attention.

Very interested to see what they do with these ideas ludonarratively in the context of an extraction shooter. Feels like a moment where the recurring themes & motifs in all Bungie's games could come full circle and then be contrasted against Destiny's use of them to super cool effect
