The definitive edition re-release has been a thing since the 90s and generally has been a net positive for those games.
So many of my favorite games are a refined re-release of an original game. International versions, Final Mixes, Royals ect.
Replacing them with DLC is a net negative.

Honestly I think I’m increasingly sensitive about this because making broken NES kusuges more functional was something Rani Baker was doing a lot of before she died and I thought that was so cool and beautiful and admirable

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
