The fact that they do not do so is, in itself, proof that they know full well this isn't right.

Constituents can be persons or companies. They can lobby MPs. MPs can ask questions on their behalf. What MPs cannot do is getting paid to do so - neither directly nor indirectly. That's unethical.

Unless (!) the MP -when asking the question- also discloses their personal / financial involvement...
