Undismayed by efforts of his sister to send him to a mental hospital, Laughead handed newsmen a prepared statement which said he would work in closer harmony with Mrs. Dorothy Martin, 53, to "complete" their prophecy of the end of the world. Mrs. Martin claims to receive the prophecies from creatures in outer space which she relays to Laughead. While newsmen were present in her home, Mrs. Martin suddenly appeared to go into a trance and announced that a new message was arriving from space. - "They're coming in on the beam now," she said as she picked up a pad of paper and pencil and be- gan scribbling. The words she wrote down were: "Shall ye be unto yourself true or shall ye sell your birthright?" Puzzled reporters asked her what it meant. "That's for the press," she replied.

Authorities removed forty children from the group in Germany after a journalist showed evidence of child abuse. The action was upheld by the European Court of Human Rights.

I might contend that 'willing to excuse in exchange for military service' isn't quite the same as "not opposed to" but still, yikes.
The Kremlin is not opposed to all forms of Satanism, however. In 2023, as part of efforts to recruit convicts for the war, Russia freed a gang member who ritually killed four teenage girls. Nikolai Ogolobyak and his accomplices fried and ate the hearts and tongues of their victims and stabbed one of them 666 times as a sacrifice to the devil, according to police. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2010, but was pardoned by Putin after serving six months at the front in Ukraine.

Let's put to rest this idea that the Nazi Totenkopf is some older symbol used by the Prussian military. Those aren't the same exact symbol. To start with, note the lack of a lower jawbone, as the Nazi version has. Jolly Rogers are generally different as well. The Nazi Totenkopf is a Nazi symbol.
