And Julia Michalek presented on "Harnessing personal and social resources in managing internalising and externalising symptoms in children living in low resource settings." She also presented on "Trust perception in refugee children" at a symposium on psycho-social functioning in refugee youth.

Last week we had two researchers presenting at the European Conference on Developmental Psychology in Lithuania. Alina Marinca presented on "The impact of ADHD on physical, psychological, and socioemotional outcomes in children from underserved communities". And, more below...

More travels - Aisling Murray and Laura Paulauskaite (Youth Resilience Unit, pictured) during a visit to the UN House in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on 7th March 2025 after meeting with representatives from UNICEF and UNFPA. They also travelled to Uzbekistan to meet with NGOs and UN organisations.

Professor Jennifer Lau, Lauren Turner, Catarina Duarte, and Imogen Hensler attended the Conference on #Youth #Loneliness at the London Royal Danish Embassy on the 13th of March. The event featured leading Danish and British organisations sharing their strategies to combat youth loneliness.

The Great Friendship Project and Florence Eshalomi MP hosted a policy event at the Houses of Parliament in London yesterday addressing the loneliness crisis among young adults.

Our own Prof Jennifer Lau presented key findings on loneliness amongst young people & outlined priorities for future work
