I hadn't seen the Inazuma Eleven english translation until now so I had no idea they went all Phoenix Wright on every character name (and honestly they're pretty damn good locs too) *except* for Raika, who inexplicably gets to just keep her unmistakably japanese name.

this interview fascinates me for a few reasons firstly, Matsuyama is definitely a True Believer in furry shit.
Secondly, has he ever reckoned with the extremely high LGBT quotient in furry spaces because this man is either on the verge of a breakthrough or has already had it and made it a calling.

i get that platform holders continue to try as hard as they possibly can to manufacture consent for an all-digital future and the Switch 2 in particular is trying very hard on this front but still, I insist on making them work for it. The games that don't work without a download are a minority.

The ratio is actually even *better* on the Switch? The number of games that do not run at all without a day 1 update or internet connection is actually an extreme minority?

It's one of those things where it's hard to get an "official" source because Capcom is so bad at acknowledging legacy media their own website literally doesn't list any Resi game prior to REMake as even existing lol
