I’m surprised that’s not the end of the conversation as far as you’re concerned.” She raised her eyebrows. “You have vetoed people over lesser crimes.” “But he wants to. I started him on them today. So, it’s even better. I get to watch him discovering them. We talked through what he’d read so far, and it was like getting to read them again for the first time—having all that excitement about what might happen.”

Question... what practical uses could ice powers have? So far I have:
- refreshing beverages
- saving the (ant)arctic

And literally nothing in between. Maybe air con? But you'd have to just... stand there. And be able to do cool air, not ice, otherwise too messy.

Went to an evening poetry event. One of the seating options was deckchairs. I knew that was dangerous but I enjoyed my evening of poems with a little accidental nap in the middle and I stand by that choice.
