Its really a roll of the dice being a remote tech worker outside of the US. A job is a job, i dont think workers doing the task are getting a choice in what they develop. You know, we're all just trying to pay the rent or whatever.

In my experience when traveling people really see when you make effort to learn their language and are encouraging about it (except for in the US). Ditch that machine and pick up a phrase book.

I hate seeing people train bjj and then go on to become cops, but tbh it is a pipeline.
