This line is really eating at me: “despite lack of robust evidence”
1) there is.
2) these studies will no longer get NIH funding because the government is strategically disincentivizing trans research and then, in the same breath being like, “welp (slaps thighs) there just isn’t enough data.”

Ugh. I hate it.
Why on earth are we still listening to a paper that consistently publishes articles that misrepresent trans ppl? That didn’t fact check “weapons of mass destruction?” Idk why ppl still engage with the NYT as if it is “the paper of record” and worth taking seriously. It generally only disappoints.
