I can't actual click into the article, so I'm not sure if this aspect is discussed.

If we count December 25th as "The First Day of Christmas", then the "Twelfth Night" does indeed fall on January 5th.

Under this reading, am I convinced, a proactive parade can be justified? 🤔

Valentine's Day always falls during Carnival, most often on or around the Krewe of Mid-City parade. It happens so often, Mid- City adopted their iconic double heart symbol to commemorate the occurrence. It will always be a part of #OurCarnivalHeritage!
