"That's not The Character that's just some guy/some lady" is the worst outcome of a genderbend .... I stand by the fact that it CAN be fun and interesting to genderbend characters but you have to think of THE CHARACTER!!

Someone asks Janeway when she first experienced gender euphoria and it was being addressed as captain during some childhood game.

Maybe Uhuro IS a real name or a variation of Uhuru, but it feels like when people just swap 'o' for 'a' and vise versa when genderbending instead of looking for an actual alternative name.

Also I forgot my third point which is that Fem AOS Spock is v pretty <3

but I really like it...imagining him having to ask "Does this have x? Was this contaminated with y?" and as a person with allergies it DOES annoy ppl but you've GOTTA do it!!! Flip flopping on whether the TOS food cubes are ideal or troublesome for him and his dietary restrictions...

a menu and a team of chefs. I don't think this is how most star trek mess halls are conceptualized?? But I'm Voyager pilled and I think that's how it should be on every ship - give the people options!! Spock having dietary restrictions for medical reasons is something I haven't considered before

The replicatoors!! There are probably more than a few people who don't eat or don't prefer to eat replicated food...I always conceptualize the mess hall as existing for people who don't like or trust replicated food. Like, you CAN replicate food & eat there for the social aspect but there IS

I also thought so!!! That he and his family wouldn't follow that I mean. I think Sarek & Amanda would know how to prepare food that way (for guests, not that THEY'D be cooking necessarily) but they wouldn't eat that way themselves, so Spock didn't grow up with it.

I think a'riyokul would probably be a hard to follow while in Starfleet because replicated food doesn't go through a process of being prepared...you'd probably need to have a whole thing arranged with the ship you're on or make all your meals yourself.

I wasn't even considering what it was but that's a very interesting idea!! It'd be so cool to have people weigh in on that but❗speaking of weighing in! A Spock connoisseur has appeared!!! Do you think Spock [any iteration] would eat a'riyokul? (No pressure to answer)

And lastly, Tuvok's father is an admiral because he pressured Tuvok into joining Starfleet and was on another Starfleet ship during Tuvok's first stint as an ensign...so I assume so many decades later he'd be a captain or an admiral. Lotta headcanons in this one!

Regarding Sunak's comment, I thought making T'Pel's obvious wig into...an obvious wig in canon would be fun. So it's like a sheitel! Something I discovered after some googling - T'Pel is married so she covers her hair.

A'riyokul is something I made up - similar to eating kosher but since Vulcans are Vegetarian it pertains to different things. Humans would likely be unable to easily ascertain whether or not something is A'riyokul but on Vulcan it's a fairly common dietary restriction/concern.
