Something that broke me out of the "woodworking" recommended when I transitioned 34 years ago was being part of a tight group of lesbians. They all shared stories of their becoming the women they are and I wasn't. I couldn't take that anymore.

It is best and unions are no panacea and can be detrimental as they were in US auto industry competitiveness with Japan.

Even with cleanest nuclear or fusion still have need for highly portable dense energy. So I doubt fossil fuel goes away entirely any time soon for perfectly sound reasons.

Giving? From whom? Voluntary or "giving" some of the ill gotten gains from taking by force. Electing leaders means a charade to sanction rulers to take whatever they please while pretending to care about you.

That was not what it was intended for at all. Or maybe it was but only to give government, you know, rulers, more and more power over everything and everybody.

There is no free market in healthcare and health insurance. Such has been made impossible by long government destruction of all normal market mechanisms. So it is pretense that people can just shop for themselves at this point. How to get there from here with as little damage as possible?
