This is a good thing, but state-based reinsurance programs generally accomplish this by *raising* NET premiums for other enrollees, so...

NEW JERSEY is continuing their existing NJ Health Plan Savings program with $215 million in additional assistance for enrollees earning up to 500% FPL. This amounts to perhaps 40% of the lost federal tax credits.

OREGON: Speaking of Basic Health Plans, Oregon launched theirs last year (they call it the "Bridge Program") and it's still chugging along for residents who earn 138 - 200% FPL.

I would also add that I have a family member who has informed their "corporate" that they will not set foot in TX for any purpose unless/until this law is gone.

This is the Texas state Capitol. They still let in trans women with ids that matches their gender identity. So this isn't even keeping trans women out. These things are completely unenforceable except through fear.
