We actually bullied Universal into giving the Spanish skater the ok to skate to Minions music at the Olympics! If only more corporations would respond to bullying like this.

Now that I think about this, it’s probably another reason the show got hate.
Because how dare anyone question that the Jedi be anything other than perfect.
I personally appreciated that it challenged this common conception. But you know, critical thinking bad. Jedi infallible. Rawr.

This is just my opinion, but I thought The Acolyte did a good job of making people question what the darkside truly was.
There’s pure evil, but then there are those that turn their noses up to how others live and see it as a threat to their own existence when all they want is the right to live.

Could not recommend Glitter and Gold on Netflix enough if you want just a taste of how insane Ice Dance is going into this Olympics. Literally a soap opera complete with villains.

The assumption that all romance is trash for dumb people who like formulas -- that's still a thing in TV & film. A big thing. Also, like, I'm sorry, but a middle or upper class man is an asshole and is doing crimes or solving crimes? That's not a genre? MORE formulaic than a romance? HILARIOUS
