I may feel differently after processing the game a bit more. I really liked it but at the same time there were things I didn't or am unsure on how to feel about them 🤔

The music is great as always; especially Jacinthe's theme and upcoming ZA Royale match theme

I know all Pokémon MCs are technically silent but, even then, many had a reason to act like they did.

Legends Arceus: you're literally trapped in the past. Of course you'll want to explore and try to get by the best way you can.

Scarlet/Violet: apart from school, you literally find a hurt dragon

Like, what, you come on vacation and then suddenly feel super strongly about everything as if you knew the people and place since forever??

It's not like anything particularly impactful happened to the MC for them to be so attached so quickly.

I think that's the weak point to the story, imho.

I have to say, though; more than a Legends game, this feels like a sequel to XY. Especially taking into account the story and the returning characters.

I think, overall, the story and characters were pretty solid, but I didn't much care for the protagonist themself.
