RideShare is back! Thanks to a (likely temporary) auth workaround. C'mon, Peloton, you'll get so much love from an official oauth flow. #hobbyshinyapps #rstats

These mailers supporting the Harrell campaign, funded by — I guess — big construction guys? Sure are dark and mean-spirited. No wonder he’s getting his ass kicked.

The attacks during this campaign have been far more personal and negative (and misleading) than we were expecting. The good news? Seattle voters don’t seem to be buying it. The more the mayor attacks me, the more voters look at him skeptically.

It's probably the least awful thing about the whole video, but I'm personally laughing a lot at the Uptoown platform sign.

I just made an amazing discovery that is bringing me some small joy:
Magnets actually stick to the front of my new refrigerator.
This is like finding a coelacanth in the trunk.

The contempt this government has for us is breathtaking. There's a set of people who work for the federal government whose job this week is to put this shit on the White House web site. They found the photos, wrote the text, and published to prod.

I kid you not, this is currently what the White House's "Major Events Timeline" shows for the East Wing expansion.

Somewhere there's a statement of work with line items like "demo and haul away east wing" and I really want to know who signed it.
Where'd they store the furniture, portraits and artifacts of 80 years of use? Did the white house photographer take pictures beforehand?

Good thing there weren't any other maintenance workers in the Louvre at the time of the heist, otherwise they would have got those little white alerting pips above their heads and the thieves would have had to quickly change into like caterer costumes.

I signed up for 10 days of YouTube TV so I could watch the mariners home games (sorry; it’s me; I’m the reason) and wow, the fact that most of the commercials are for apps that outsource whether I need a sweater or apps that let me bet on the game I’m watching, seems bad for the state of things.

I’ve been trying out Helix after reading Julia’s helpful notes, and really love the `gw` command to immediately go to and select a specific word. This is really cool. (Hadn’t seen it but would be happy to learn if the vims can do this)
