When the newspaper on your doorstep agrees with the talk radio station in your pick-up and the local newscaster on the tv at the cafe where you eat lunch. It’s repetition. Any logical rebuttal that shows hypocrisy or reveals truth is quickly trashed.
You’re right, he should have a good follow up, for something that important. He shouldn’t move on, just camp out on that point. It’s the whole “we’ll leave it right there” mindset that drives me crazy.
