Long-time fan of reading romance, science fiction, fantasy novels.
This airport WH Smith bookshop has no Mills and Boon for sale. Bummer. I'd have bought one for the plane ride for nostalgia's sake; Harlequins were so much a gateway into romance reading for me. Side note: didn't realize Iron Flame was a doorstopper. Can't believe I managed to read all that (ebook)!

If they build labor camps for anyone, they’ll eventually use them on everyone. Dissenters, vulnerable groups, political opponents. This is how it always goes, across history. Do everything you can to not build that infrastructure. They can’t do it if we don’t help.

This is Fred. He just found out he can chew his own ear. There aren't actually any rules against it, he checked. 12/10

Not a Netflix subscriber, so I jumped on this chance to watch Nimona on YouTube. What a terrific movie. I can see why it's Oscar nominated.

Of course I'll read SEP's new Chicago Stars book coming out tomorrow, but this article's mention of Nobody's Baby But Mine made me itch for a re-read. One of my all time faves. (Paywall) www.wsj.com/arts-culture...
She’s the Queen of Football Romance. (No, It’s Not Taylor Swift.)
Susan Elizabeth Phillips sells millions of steamy books that have quarterbacks falling in love with opera divas, feisty detectives and portrait painters.

Went to purchase a Talia Hibbert story (novella?) on sale and saw that I already own it. Thank you past-me. I know what I'm reading next: The Roommate Risk.
