I think so too. I’ve never really known much about the character but the art style alone has really been intriguing me to look into it. I love the look of that book so much from what I’ve seen.

Yeah the combat is the worst part of the game so far. It doesn’t feel tense or scary because she is so competent in combat situations. I think even just tweaking the animations to make her a lot less sure in her actions could do a lot of good, the animation work in the cutscenes are much better imo

That’s fair! I think I just weirdly associate them with the older looks and sounds of the series. I think RE was smart to do what they did with 7 to expand what RE could be. These feel so much like the old ones that it’s a little strange for me at times, definitely still having a good time though

That’s fair! I like that it’s unique but does make it hard for me to figure out the order of when things are happening. I enjoy it as a novelty but generally enjoy the standard anthology style more myself
