End Golf Club Subsidies & DefundSPD. All views my own; retweet isn't endorsement
The assessed value of Broadmoor & Sandpoint Golf Courses has been <$1/sq ft since 1983 even while Seattle property has increased 2000-2400%. KCAssessor claimed value of private courses was transferred to the CC homes. It's not. We need to eminent domain the courses @councilmember-amr.bsky.social

The Roy Disney Family has at least 4 of these office buildings for the people managing their wealth. Maybe we should tax the rich?

Seattle Times, mimicking Bruce Harrell’s campaign strategy, is out here channeling the New York Times

What if @governorferguson.bsky.social taxed billionaires for our kids’ education rather than praising them for “gifting” money they extracted from Washington workers? Tax wealth not work, Bob

Bruce Harrell started a new City of Seattle TikTok the week before the primary. Averaged 6 posts a week promoting himself. Zero posts since the election. But the SEEC claims he didn’t violate election laws by using govt resources to promote his campaign.

Bruce is corrupt. We must not let this slide
November 14, 2025 at 6:14 AM
Bruce Harrell tacitly acknowledges that his childhood trauma of poverty is why he attacked Wilson so vociferously for not being wealthy like him.
Guys will run for mayor rather than get therapy
November 14, 2025 at 12:03 AM
Bruce won the millionaire vote. He’s definitely popular with rich white people.

Also not sure how a mayor with >50% of the vote can be credibly called “unpopular” or run “60 points behind other progressives”.

The math doesn’t math

It’s curious to me that someone could look at this map and say Katie Wilson is the mayor of Capitol Hill. Or that Bruce Harrell represents “real Seattle”. Nah. He always and only represented the wealthy (white) older landowners against the younger more economically precarious residents
November 13, 2025 at 9:02 AM
Well @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social has broken 50%. She has a majority. Suck it @bruceforseattle.bsky.social Don’t let the light rail hit your a$$ on the way back to Bellevue

In which @jtalton.bsky.social reveals he’s a hack and not to be trusted as a business reporter. We’ve had decades of failed mayoral leadership (McGinn excepted), and we certainly don’t need a sexist frat boy at the helm any longer
November 11, 2025 at 7:49 PM
There is a curious pattern here.

Bruce Harrell rarely goes above 9 press statements a month. Only 4x before this year has 13. And then in the 2 months before the primary he does 13, and then 20 in each of Sept & Oct. Coincidence or subtle misusing of public office?

And with that we have a new mayor! Congratulations to @wilsonkatieb.bsky.social! We are entering a new era of hope!

I guess I've become *that guy*. Here's yet another @bruceforseattle.bsky.social ethics violation I'm finding I must report. For the life of me I don't understand why the SEEC can't just investigate these on their own without a formal complaint, but it is what it is.

The politics of joy and hope won tonight. Congrats to Dionne Foster.

The *only* downside is Sara’s sock puppet days are numbered @theseattlechannel.bsky.social
November 5, 2025 at 5:03 AM
So glad that Dionne Foster has removed Sara Nelson by a 16 point margin
November 5, 2025 at 4:28 AM
Good news! @alexis4seattle.bsky.social Dionne Foster and Erika Evans have won a resounding victory, repudiating the politics of hopelessness represented by the Conservatives on Council.

Fingers crossed @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social wins as the later returns come in over the week

The crowd is bumping at the joint Rinck Evans Foster election party. Feels like it’s going to be a GOOD night
November 5, 2025 at 3:39 AM
Is anyone @adamsmith.house.gov @jayapal.house.gov talking about how this adjournment is illegal? And if illegal, then are the other rules valid? And if not: why can’t Democrats take control?
November 1, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Additionally Horsey defines Seattle as an HOA that has right of refusal for who lives here, not a city. And the Seattle Times tacitly acknowledges that he’s such a piece of shit they can’t allow anyone to comment

What ever happened to Bruce Harrell the Socialist? Why dos he now work only for the richest of capitalists? Why doesn’t he care about addressing inequality of opportunity and outcomes any longer?
October 31, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Jamie Pedersen told me twice over the summer that it’s not going to happen because of elections (reading between the lines) and he’s not a fan of it
October 31, 2025 at 5:55 AM
It had to be done to his Wikipedia page. Also his kid went to Lakeside and he’s complaining that Wilson is getting help with childcare during the campaign? F$$K him.
