Same as me - I have no idea what happened. It's scary because without knowing why it's harder to be careful so it doesn't happen again.

Oh mate, hope you're feeling better now. Had he not been with me I reckon I would have stayed down for a while and then hobbled home but I didn't want to scare him. It's an awful feeling.

It's the first time in a long time I've fallen and it gave me a real shock. It's nothing that won't be fine in a day or two but I was really shaken up.

Thank you - annoyingly, I seem to have avoided bruising anywhere so I can't even show Phil for sympathy! 🙄😁 The palms of my hands are swollen but I think only so I'd know and no one else x

Thank you - it was the shock that threw me more than anything, and not wanting to let on to eldest that I was hurt. I'm a bit sore but ok now. Not looking forward to going back out in this weather to take him to chess though 😭 x

I had a 'health check' at work several years ago when I was a lot lighter than now and they calculated my BMI as 21. Nurse reading the result at the end read the 1 as a 7 and told me I was overweight. It really is the biggest pile of nonsense.

When we got home he made me a cup of tea 'for the shock' like a little nursemaid, except for the pouring boiling water into the cup and carrying it to the sitting room bits ❤️ Am a bit shaky now but ok. I didn't slip on ice or anything, just lost my footing and stacked it.

You didn't! We were all pretty concerned for the dog too. She's back in the building tomorrow so hopefully the dog will be elsewhere because I can't imagine being stuck in the car was the best place for it either 😢 X
