early game was kinda rocky and I was worried about needing consumables to heal all the time but I have so many now. elemental weapons, environmental throwables, and the usable spellbooks fix any problems I had with enemies immune to physical damage. it's making me think and engage more with areas

When the typo in AI is fixed, you can see this behavior once again work properly. They will run towards whichever corner is furthest from the player (at the time of the check).
...however, because they are told to run towards the corner for EXACTLY 5 seconds they usually stop halfway anyway. oops.

it's something that doesn't self update so I've had the same version forever and it still does exactly what I want it to after all these years through multiple entire computers. I guess I can see why folks stopped using it if NFTs were involved though
