1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Yesterday 12,000+ steps of pebble, scrape, scoop, mop, repeat. Today will be waiting for the TSN crew to arrive and install cameras so we can finish off the walkways. Tomorrow will be 25,000+ steps of pebble, scrape, mop, run rocks, mop as practices begin. #curling #olympictrials

Yesterday’s ice making shenanigans included installing foam bumpers, decking and carpet. Sealing and flooding. Carts for scoreboards, electrical cords, bunting. More flooding. Working the late shift today so we will probably still be flooding, maybe into scraping…who knows?

Our Thursday night curling team is both undefeated and winless after 2 games. Played last year’s league winners last night and had them on the ropes until I missed a tough takeout in the worst way possible. Left them sitting 3 but then they were light on a draw. Was an awesome game.

The 2027 men’s world curling championship is heading to New Brunswick.
The championship will be played Mar. 27-April 4 at TD Station in Saint John.
It marks the 28th time that Canada has played host to the event, and Canadian men’s teams have won a leading 35 titles.
