Its absolutely bonkers to me that when i was a child my parents and everyone of the older generations always said "dont believe everything you see on the internet!" and now those same people are the biggest victims and spreaders of propaganda and get their news exclusively from facebook memes

Agreed but not quite what im referring to. Heres an example: A far lefty criticizes dems on I/P because they say that what Hamas did was bad and also Israel is taking things too far and needs to check themselves waaay more than they criticize the right for wanting to wipe Gaza off the map completely

Exactly!! If you dont align on 100% of things with the far left youre dead to them. They would rather argue with someone they agree with on 90% of things than the people they only agree with on 10% and scold the left for not being left enough instead of combat the right
