I understand that its imposter syndrome but a big part of why i tend not to draw fanart of established characters is because I have this idea in my head that the quality of my work isnt good enough to faithfully represent the things I like

The annoying thing about finishing a drawing is that i usually have more motivation to draw than ideas and if i wait to have an idea then I'll just not draw for extended periods of time and I'm really trying to work on drawing every day so i end up starting and abandoning stuff all the time.
