Phantasy Star IV. There's a lot of games I like. I love GTA V and Online. Forza Horizon 4 & 5? NFS Heat and Unbound? Love 'em. But this 16bit science-fantasy masterpiece? I rented it weekend after weekend till I beat it, and I still think about it.

I'm a sucker for bullpups and the Rayvenfire is a fun little unit. I cleaned up the last one I found and gave it to my daughter, and with the one I found today, I've got a spare now. $7.99 well spent!

The bairn and I are ready for the 2026 Nerf battles to come! She asked me if I had the same blaster and I dug mine out too. A quick visit to the spare parts box and we're ready to rock! She's excited to have the same blaster as me and I can't lie, I like it too.

Made a thrifting score today! Two of the hardest to find flywheel blasters are the Nerf Styfe and Rayven/Rayvenfire. They're good blasters in stock form, and are at the centers of their respective modding cults. So when I found a Rayvenfire at Value Village for $7.99 today? Easy choice, got it! 1/2

And with the passing of 1100hrs PST this morning, #WorldEmber2025 has come to an end. My #WIP science fiction setting saw significant expansion, and despite some UI/UX hurdles, it worked out with a solid 13599 words added! Time to make a lot of header images! 1/2

Today's prescription is dice! Apparently someone noticed my dice woes, and unbeknownst to me, picked some up as a stocking stuffer. I'm not complaining though! Got another set of Chessex speckled dice, a Chessex d6 set, and more FATE dice! They all fit (barely!) in an old prescription bottle too!

After months of searching, I appear to have lost my primary dice collection in the move. So it's time to rebuild! I hit the local game shop and picked up a few sets of Chessex speckly dice, the "Eldritch" set of FATE dice, and some Cypher Dice. It's a good restart. Just need FATE points! #TTRPG
