It be something you opt-in to not have to suffer the endless tyranny of opt-out. Or deal with the horror of having to re-turn it back off when Microsoft inevitably and surreptitiously turns it back on when they think no one is looking.

He shouldn't have to turn off AI in every single application where it wasn't turned on to begin with.
Given how reckless the AI is and Microsoft own admission it can do harm if left on, it shouldn't be on by default. Anywhere.
