This is very much an overly silly Plas, but it works here because A. He’s not constantly annoying to the other Leaguers, B. His being able to think of a clever plan on the fly, and C. Most important, Olivetti’s hilariously deranged art.

The artist behind this is a massive dirtbag, he sucks.
Which sucks because this is one of my favorite Plas comics of the JLA era. Writer Todd Dezago perfectly captures Plastic Man AND Woozy, and uses them so well. I love this story a lot.

One full year of doing this, wowee :D
I can say a lot about this comic, but to put it simply: I love that it’s about how much Plastic Man loves his son and was there for him. After years of seeing the opposite, of Plas being a POS, this is nice.

I can’t get enough of this world. It being an explicit alternate universe really adds to its overall fun and bright nature, even as the stories got dark. I hear the later Tangent outings aren’t as fun, so at least I got this.

The writer’s unfortunately a loon.
Taking a detour to go through some Elseworlds!
I really like Gunther Ganz a lot. He’s not just ole’ Plas but with a different costume, he’s a whole new dude that fits the 90’s “Waterpark World” of Tangent.
