Disappointed to see Jon Stewart & co joke about masking in public. I do it for my medically fragile daughter (Batten Disease). People not masking properly led to her getting pneumonia, which led to her being on life support, which led to me getting price quotes on her cremation just in case.

Finally we have a political party willing to challange the stagnation of the last 46 years brought on by relying on the 'market' to know best and 'trickle down economics' both of which made the rich fabulously richer and the other 97٪ poorer!
No wonder Starmer's shower are scared!
If Labour were not worried about @zackpolanski.bsky.social and the increasing Green surge, it would be studiously ignoring them.

The fact that they are even attacking him on Christmas Day tells you they are getting desperate.

Lab are being replaced by Grn.

Not like the Telegraph to mis-inform?
(Apart from they do it all the time)
The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.

Ouch! The most accurate standard of time in the USA may have gone down!

Yup, a bunch of atomic clocks at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado seem to have lost power.

I nominate “do more with less” as one of the most damaging corporate strategies in history.

Of course that’s not to say we should never seek to optimize, but simply restricting resources without considering what made a team or product successful is a recipe for disaster.

Thanks to all who have reposted this thread to help get the word out. The selling of these books "as new" on Amazon is making it more difficult for Unbound authors to rebuild what we lost and move on.
Quick note to anyone thinking of buying my books: please purchase the new Swift Press versions, NOT the relatively small number of Unbound versions still knocking about, & being sold by OOINYA. Unbound stopped paying me for my work early in 2024 and I will never see a penny for these books.

Well I 'retired' 5 weeks ago. It was always the plan that I'd be available for cover for medical/annual leave affecting the team, but I didn't expect to be back quite so soon😀. In for 5 days: I don't mind - it's nice to see colleagues again and a bit extra money earned!
