I've said it before but the worst part of health anxiety is KNOWING its bullshit, logically, but the emotional side of your brain takes over and makes you panic.

Before becoming a niche internet micro celebrity, I was a very online person. Like SO online. So online the FBI has shown up to my house. That being said, it’s wild how little I can relate to people who are too online these days. Like, in my prime, I dedicated so little time to being a hater.

When you find a good forum who seem eager to talk about positive things and things they enjoy about gaming, only to see it become just another place where people judge games by what they aren't instead of what they are, and the tone becomes overly negative and critical.

People will look at modern games and go "Pft look at the slight artifacting due to DLSS or the weak-ass RT only providing a MOSTLY clear reflective puddle in this foggy street, this is lazy asinine bullshit at the devs even trying?" and to me it all looks fucking incredible

I moved some covering around to snap a sneaky pic of my brumating buddy, using the roots of a ceramic tree stump as a pillow 🥹
His fat pads still look excellent, and he opens his eyes and peeks at us sometimes, he seems to be having a good brumation. Especially since we're just letting him sleep

I miss my sleepy little derp. Hekr's been asleep since like... November 1st. I weighed him once almost a month ago (november 19th or so) and he was doing fine.
Brumation usually lasts 2-3 months so hopefully he's up and being a brat soon enough

We're now getting games like Tonic Trouble on N64 NSO, which means I firmly believe we'll get Quest 64 eventually
