Vivimos en constante suspensión liminal, obligados a redefinirnos con cada nueva tecnología o algoritmo. El miedo a cruzar es el miedo a desconectar, a dejar la sombra segura del anonimato digital por la plena consciencia de la identidad fuera de la pantalla. La luz del umbral moderno es la sobrecarga de información. La salida de la cueva no conduce a una verdad única, sino a un océano de datos donde la elección es abrumadora. La soledad del caminante se amplifica en la multitud conectada: cada decisión (de carrera, identidad, consumo) se siente como un paso intransferible, juzgado instantáneamente por un sinfín de miradas externas.
