The first comic I ever published was called Putrid Meat. The main character is a thrasher shithead named Bones. The comic ended years ago, but he's still the ONLY character I've created who pops into my dreams — and apparently my friends' dreams. He might actually be an interdimensional demon.

Hm. The more I think about it, the more I think it makes sense to finish the first arc of Mortify off as a comic, but then shift it over to a short story with illustrations format. That feels a lot better for what I have in mind. I have big plans.

the most useful thing I've gotten at a protest is contacts!
And a bunch of progressive groups will probably show up with their banners and flyers. And those are groups you can join, in your community, to get involved with for other great, effective, and life-affirming ways to push back against fascism!
