Tried many times in many places to get a good shot of a painted bunting. Then one spring day while my wife and I were sitting in our backyard, one showed up and proceeded to pose for us. He stayed about 5 minutes then flew away. A great 5 minutes.

Tried many times in many places to get a good shot of a painted bunting. Then one spring day while my wife and I were sitting in our backyard, one showed up and proceeded to pose for us. He stayed about 5 minutes then flew away. A great 5 minutes.

Some trees, like poplar, naturally shed their leaves later in the season add the urban heat island effect and you find Black Poplars like these who have not received a memo about yellowing leaves yet in November.💚
