Oh that’s interesting, now that some newer brands have seen a lot of success embracing more premium minimalism in their products/stores, that might be translating to premium brands on the web too 🤔

An open-spec recommendations / expert-id system would make algorithmic ranking for trustworthiness using pay to win / SEO spam so much harder if search was re-aligned to make use of it. Loved the ideas in this talk.

With all the innovation happening around ATProto at the moment I’m excited by the backlinks / comments concepts, already seeing comment sections via Bluesky scripts pop up on npm.
