You bet, my pleasure. And yeah, the whole Mothership Strategies connection is going to haunt his campaign. That and the fact of him switching horses early in the race from Senator to Congressman. One issue will alarm certain voters and the other will bother a lot of the rest.

No, though that seems to be what Wood thinks from his blurb.

There are four candidates vying for that seat, as the post says.
Matt Dunlap, Jordan Wood, James Clark, Paul LePage.

You can find more about them all here, on Ballotpedia:

"Maine DEP determines how much water can be taken from springs by using groundwater data, and regulates water withdrawals through permits."

An issue any Maine Senator should be concerned about & may have input on as it affects Maine, whether they "control" it or not.

Drought conditions cause Poland Spring to reduce water withdrawals
Nearly 75% of Maine is experiencing at least severe drought, and more than a third of the state is experiencing extreme drought.

Thanks! Feels like a thankless task sometimes, but I enjoy getting up before the sun with a cup of coffee and compiling them each day. And, I hear when I'm out at rallies etc far more are getting their info from them than leave comments or likes.
Helps me stay informed of what's happening in Maine!

Exactly. Because of my calendars I try to stay on top of public events and candidate town halls well in advance, so see things spring up rather suddenly in some cases. Always interesting to see what and who is getting attention.

Down closer to Portland, about 1.5hrs. I was surprised this Oxford one came up, as he hadn't had any others planned. So who knows, there may be another one or two besides Livermore Falls now before the holidays. I'd like to see any/all of the candidate's town halls, though am often working or can't.

...over 25 Get Graham on the Ballot events organized all over the state for the 1st week in Jan. Has had 'em set up for weeks.

Livermore Falls is his next town hall type deal, on Dec 21, with a focus on his vision around housing insecurity and homelessness. Maybe I'll see ya there.

Right, in all the media interviews & articles about him what comes across is how adept he is at referring to info he's absorbed over decades. Read @michaelkruse.bsky.social's piece in Politico if you haven't, which rounds out more, too.

I've been saying since the git-go he's an organizer. He has 1/

and that he further believes will continue whether he gets into Congress or not.
Well done, @cuuixsilver.bsky.social, well done.
I especially appreciate that he keeps bringing up Thomas Paine, Frances Perkins, Jane Macalevey, Siegfried Sassoon and others in interviews and town hall appearances.

Wow, what an amazing and terrific play-by-play accounting of Platner's town hall. I appreciate it. Ton of respect for you doing this so well. It puts together a lot of the bits & pieces one can glean from articles as to his beliefs and of the necessary movement he believes he can help build . . . 1/

Grab a family or neighborhood veteran and head to a Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Ceremony. Veterans are too often overlooked in how much they, in service to their country, helped shape America.

Here's your chance to put that energy behind her bid for Governor.

She'd make a hell of a Senator for Maine. We never know, that may still happen in future, too.

You would have to ask them.
I haven't seen anything to that effect.
It's a brand new youth group.

Check their website for more on what they do and stand for.
