My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it

I (finally) watched the TV show Task. The beginning is slow, but when it picks up, you get hooked. I had to watch it over a couple days because I started watching it in the afternoon.
If you have HBO max, I highly recommend it.

I read (part of?) that failed essay. As someone who did well enough in a first year academic writing course that I later got to teach it (twice), I would have failed that paper as well. You can’t just write your personal opinion, “cite” God, then claim discrimination when you get a failing grade.
