My dad liked the pottery l made & offered to buy me a kiln. I gave him a breakdown of how much it would cost / how much space would be needed (college was a long time ago.)l reckon it was about 5/6x times the amount he’d thought, but he didn’t miss a beat- “A promise is a promise.”
