Absolutely - this move def looks better with Alonso still cemented at 1B. When I say he offers more utility than Masa/Seiya, I mean he can bounce around more spots *as needed*; that’s where my further moves assumption (prayer?) comes in. Him ‘playing 1B’ has to be lineup context dependent (…right??)

Respectfully disagree; AAV is less than the QO, he’s essentially making Suzuki/Yoshida $$ but offers more roster utility. Also have a feeling there’s more coming that will further contextualize the roster fit. In any case, not mad about adding a career 112 OPS+ switch hitter to the lineup
