Just saw the NBC morning news mentioning this report. They noted details of the Minneapolis FD paramedics’ report on Renee’s wounds—2 to the chest, 1 to the forearm & possibly a 4th to her head—but neglected to mention that she was alive and that immediate medical assistance was denied her.

A large public ceremony & march along Havana’s Malecon this am honored the dead Cuban soldiers assigned to protect Maduro. 32 FAR mbrs (Revolutionary Armed Forces) were killed by the US - the 1st time the two militaries directly confronted each other. Some Cubans were in their beds when attacked.

Wow. This makes sense. It also helps explain what Rubio was saying yesterday. Though if Gen Padrino (Min of Defense & armed forces commander) and Cabello (Min of Interior) get wind of this, Delcy is going to be in N awkward position.

Gen Vladimir Padrino Lopez has been Maduro’s Minister of Defense & commander of the armed forces since 2014. If no one kills him, he’ll surely be a mover and shaker in the days ahead - having far more political sway in the country than VP Delcy Rodriguez.

Well, you can bet Venezuela no longer has operational F-16s. V’s main military base, Fuerte Tiuna, was taken out along with the La Carlota airbase. Diosdado Cabello, the Minister of Interior, is still alive and calling for calm. The former Natl. Assembly Speaker was/is also ‘wanted’ by the US.

When I see a mainstream media outlet incorporate a headline that doesn’t water down Trump’s corruption, I immediately get taken aback, but this is good framing by NPR.
