I need some Target investors to try shopping at some of these locked down stores.

If you lock down everything, you are only making the customer miserable. And what’s more, you staff about 2 people to unlock anything.

Target won’t exist in 10 years.

….First world problems.

As guy a guy born and raised in New Jersey, I'm no fan of Chris Christie. However, I think his comments about Charles Kushner will be darkly hilarious.

"What do you think I think about him? I put him in jail!"

Whenever I go past the Bedminster, NJ office parks, I wonder how many units have foreign SIGINT ops (Trump Bedminster is about a half mile down the road).

Malpractice by the US intel community if they don’t maintain *very* good relations with those landlords.

I believe that AI will make further obvious the gap between artisan and artist, and will eventually render extinct the former, at least in the digital space.

Paradox of “resistance”. I don’t intend to resist in many major/outward ways to this admin (US), because my chief care at this point in my life is to my parents, and it would destroy them if I were jailed/hurt. I hope other people *do* resist, for my benefit.

Probably cowardice.

The elites don't want you to know this but the ICS 705 SCIF construction standards are public, you can turn your living room into a SCIF if you want
What are some accessible Infosec & Opsec resources that activists, journalists, and organizers can turn to in preparation for the Trump admin?

Preparing for a fascist regime can feel scary and paralyzing. This seems like an area where people can take control w/ concrete steps.

We’re in a really dangerous place:
- The system runs on norms, and democracy depends on them
- One party radically rejects norms and revels in transgression
- The other party hasn’t figured out a response beyond stammering “Uphold the norms”
- Voters don’t care about abstract norms and proceduralism
A good time to point out that the Dept of Justice policy of not indicting sitting presidents is not in the Constitution anywhere. Search for those words and you will not find it. Nor obviously will you find any words saying former presidents are immune. It's all extra-constitutional.

I stutter. Joe Biden Stutters. Biden showed me that a person who stutters can DO THIS. He was my hero.

I still have my political heroes - I guess I'm a fool - but Biden ain't one of them. Garland and Biden have given the United States over to destruction.

Listened to an election post-mortem by NPR's Throughline. Broad discussions, including with Ashley Babbit's mother. It was complicated - it's a mother grieving her daughter, but she also insists her daughter was a hero. Is this a helpful perspective? We cannot expect parents not to grieve/glorify.

I often try to discuss with my non-int'l affairs friends that int'l affairs/relations are not friendships. The U.S supports Israel due to a Gordian knot of MENA factors, from oil prices to non-proliferation. I understand this, but can't really back it up - Where can I learn more?

I'm a person who stutters, an artist, photographer, program consultant, and researcher. Whereas other people choose to have fun, I listen to NPR religiously. Pro-complexity.
