The superhero proportions work really well!

MP4 Helmet on the left, MP3 Varia and Dread armor helmets on the left. It's subtle and I'm a picky bitch, but the new helmet is very rounded in the front and flattens a lot of detail down, so it makes her helmet look "swollen."

To be clear, there are parts I like; her gauntlet, boots, the spine, and morph ball look great. However the MP4 Varia Suit's proportions, the breastplate, and that damn bubble helmet are bad.

I won't lie, I feel very guilty having to ask for this help again, especially since I know it was a series of poor decisions that got me in this trouble. I'm very used to the series I know reinventing themselves in wild and an unexpected ways, and I will always respect bold creativity even when something fails, rather than trying to recreate known successes. Prime 4 is doing things I wish Metroid could have always done since I was a kid.

I love that rather than try to appeal to the notion that Metroid *must* be this singular thing, Retro is leaning in on Prime being the black sheep that can explore thematic and artistic spaces that the "main" games won't go, it's exactly what I love the trilogy for.

I think a lot of the criticism being lobbed at this game is, in my eyes, built on this prescriptivist vision for what "Real Metroid" should be, which almost always happens to be whatever Super Metroid did, but what I love about Metroid is that it can be many things. This is a really cool evolution
