A proper introduction, drawn by me! This is Polaris, that girl staring at you from my PFP. She's basically just me, but 2 inches taller. She's mostly a vehicle for self-insert indulgences, but I have plenty of art of her by now so I wanted people to know her.
Had a really bad anxiety attack last night about that money situation and like as thankful as I am people stepped in to help (especially since I'm not getting paid on time and would have certainly overdrafted eventually), I'm thinking I don't need a repeat of that, bleh.

So, my one big criticism of Prime 4 is that the Varia Suit model is bad. Like it's REALLY bad. I actually don't mind a lot of the other stuff but they really butchered the Varia Suit for this one.

I went all in on the Eva inspiration here lol. Cyber Polaris's exoskeleton, with additional notes explaining her armament. I got so locked in working on this that I stayed up till 3 AM and you can tell in spots.

Rewatched Edgerunners and my algorithm got the Cyberpunk bug so I refitted Cyber Polaris to be a Cyberpunk 2077 character. And nobody could stop me from making her as cool as I want! So here is her new armor and some lore. Alt text for the second picture is in BOTH images, I ran into the text limit.

When it comes to drawing armor/mechanical shit, I'm maybe vastly overtrained for it, but I do think it's a lot easier than people believe. I think a lot of people just haven't practiced the constructive drawing that goes into that, which I think more people should. It makes all your art better.
