It almost seems like they went out of their way to hurt the victims even more, while protecting the predators.

Yesterday I had one of those devastating moments during a teacher-training, where an activity led to the production of things I did not want or expect to be produced in such a way. Faulty explanation? Poor interpretation of the teachers' mind and skillset? Probably both. 😟
