Yeah I got that. It was just and excuse for a dad joke. Nothing malicious. Btw the autocorrect did it again just there.

It smells of nothing but bitterballen there as the buses run on CNG and the exhaust is mostly just water vapour. As you know methane as the simplest carbony gas burns cleanest.

It´s depressing isn´t it. I just watched a video on the Citroen BX where they said it was the most sensible classic Citroen you could get. CLASSIC?! It just came out yesterday!

Dont slam on them man. I need breaks. I get tired easily. ;)

Good on ya mate. I´m glad to know there are some sane ones out there. Please also teach them that if they´re upset about somebody riding for exercise like the poor man in that video that that person is NOT clogging up the roads driving to the gym and back etc etc.

1975 was when boomers were in late teens or twenties. Colour me flabbergasted.

Modal filters (rising bollards) are known to be friendly to (mini)buses, taxis etc. Anywho, schemes like Vienna´s are not about banning privately owned/operated cars. You can still access nearly every bit of the city by car but not drive through it. This is to incentivise active travel/PT

Not to worry. They´ll bring in racial purity laws next and she´ll have naught to worry about. 🥶

Or project Lt Gruber´s Not So Little Tank.

They´re just people after all, and boomers nearly to a man. They (boomers) of all wealth levels are quite open about it once you´ve peeled all the layers of denial and evasion away. They don´t care because they´ll be dead. There are exceptions of course.

For all us clueless Euro types: what is Cracker Barrel? Some sort of snack dispensary no?

If you call that deep trouble what do you call the alternative? Global famine, water wars etc. Think Threads without the bombs.

I think I can smell the Reie from here.

The complexity bit is my favourite. A machine with eight bearing interfaces is somehow too complicated while a tin box driven by hundreds of explosions a minute through a gazillion moving parts is the pinnacle of simplicity.

But just a couple of years ago the premium colours were just "colours", with no extra cash. Like metallic lime green that was all the rage not long ago.

Kid? I was born in 1976. You do know that for my generation "create content" means nothing at all, even though we know from context it means neither creation nor content? It´s yet another non-expression. I have no interest in doing that.
May 21, 2025 at 7:11 PM
I recognise the words you use as English but that´s it. Full-blown syntax error. Perhaps you´d like to try again using another language you´re more comfortable with?

What on earth has this got to do with fake money or battery acid? Sorry for being a bit of a thicko. Begging your pardon I´m not going on Reddit. It´s a village idiot gathering.

As always x per cent of something is more than 0 per cent of something. Think how long a cauldron full of hot soup takes to cool down. Now imagine the cauldron takes 1.1 million cubic metres, is buried under ground and insulated. Anyways, please educate us on a lossless way to store excess heat.

Wait what that´s not his real name? Why are we using his nom de connard?
May 20, 2025 at 11:35 AM
Yes. Hencewhy the obvious solution is to stop pedestrianism. Probably a combination of fencing peds in on footpaths like you would cattle. The car industry will lobby hard for this. For a precedent see the history of "jaywalking". Cycling on the carriageway would simply be banned.
May 20, 2025 at 11:29 AM
Just to be clear that was the point of my post above. I´ve seen a couple of building vs car incidents where the car just ploughs through the railings.
May 20, 2025 at 11:24 AM
It is astounding how many people actually believe those railings will stop a car.
May 19, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Quite a bit of British exceptionalism going on here. Wherever it happens the advent of robocars will simply mean a ban on cycling and draconian penalties for leaving footpaths.
