CNN with its live coverage of empty podiums waiting for Trump to show up... The media gave Trump $5 billion worth of free media between 2015-2016 alone. Multiply that by 10 years & you get $50 billion of free media coverage (not to mention podcasts/social media mentions).

Meanwhile, Dems get this:

We were lucky to see Yo Yo Ma earlier this year. Under a joyless and soulless regime, it's so important to seek out musicians, artists, and creatives who remind us of our shared humanity. How lucky for Boston that it has Mayor Wu who leads with courage and compassion.

Conveniently ignoring Dems who supported Mamdani (incl. the DNC chair), then making up a narrative where Dems are embracing MTG. Would that be misinfo, (participatory) disinfo or malinfo. GOP views on global warming changed because of propaganda. Views on Dems? Ditto. Narratives matter. ✔️ yourself.

And? I follow Black women voters. They were clear eyed in 2016, 2020, 2024.

They always knew what was at stake. Those Leave it Blank and Uncommitted/DSA voters and GOP enablers did not.

But they do know to undermine the Dem party rather than attacking Trump/GOP.
November 17, 2025 at 8:09 PM
For once, I want to see a DSA who actually comes from the working class and not have gone to a 60k/year private school.

Does DSA even have working class candidates or are they all privileged upper class kids?

Aside from Black voters, Jewish voters have been staunchly Democrat. Last November, 71% of Jewish voters chose Harris over Trump. Is it surprising that they donate to the Dem party?

The so called victory fund expenditures: National parties and candidates.

50501 wants to undermine Democratic Party financial support by going after Jewish groups.

50501 has shown itself to be more against Dems than against Trump/GOP. (There are more voters than donors: AIPAC is not an all powerful boogeyman).

Those who voted 3rd party/didn't vote enabled Trump/GOP policies. Now they want to blame Dems for not having power & depress votes for the Midterms.

Vanity Fair to Hillary Clinton: “It’s a year later & time to move on,” a staffer says, others raising a glass of champagne

Vanity Fair to unethical, cheating but blonde journalist Olivia Nuzzi: welcome back, let's excerpt your book & promote it. Good work on the cheekbones!

Taxing billionaires, raising minimum wage, funding apprenticeship programs...

Investing in opportunities for American to succeed...

Yup

The Biden admin made a lot of progress. A Harris admin would have built on that, provided she also had a majority Dem support in Congress.

Rather than focusing on giving Dem a majority, some people would rather undermine Dems, too wedded in their negative views about Dems, thus enabling the GOP.
November 14, 2025 at 4:27 PM
The Dem party made progress when they had a thin majority in the Senate: 48 Dem, 2 IND. Sadly, most people don't understand how Congress works--that the majority gets to set & make policies. Project 2025 is majority GOP policy.

Contrast to Dem policies:

How do you move men to the left, to presumably vote for Dem Party, when the candidate running is belittling other Dems & future colleagues? How does promoting cynicism inspire trust in the party? It's a "believe only in me but not the Dem party" campaign.

Compare/contrast the 2 fundraising texts.
November 14, 2025 at 2:50 AM
How exactly did Harris tack right? Where do civil rights & votings rights, women's rights & LGBTQ rights fall within the left-right continuum?
How about taxing billionaires & raising minimum wage? Who gets to carry the mantle of "progressive."? The one who talks or the one who does?
November 13, 2025 at 7:52 PM
After a year organizing protests around the *Minority* Dem leaders, instead of drawing attention to Thune & Johnson who are currently gutting safety nets, I feel the greatest use of our resources is to go after... the Democratic Party before the Midterms.

But her emails... 15 front page headlines in the New York Times

Were there multiple front page headlines about Epstein and Trump?

Those who still believe that if only Dems messaged better, if only they had "better policies," if only they weren't "Republican lite," behold Exhibit A & B, C & D.

It's not the Dem message. It's the hostile/inhospitable terrain & the disinfo that persists that Dems don't help working Americans.

Some people are allergic to informing themselves.
November 12, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Wait, you don't think there's a difference between a minority party & a majority party?

The majority party sets & makes policy. They get to initiate investigations, chair committee hearings... and pass bills. IOW, majority holds the power

Ex: what Biden did with the thin majority in his 1st 2 yrs
November 12, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Where's the energy to primary the majority GOP, the ones who offered the "big, beautiful bill," the ones who are the SOURCE of American's pain & suffering?

Voters didn't show up for Dems. So why are voters angrier at Dems when it's the GOP that they've allowed/enabled to gain power?
November 12, 2025 at 2:57 PM
The rightwing/legacy media certainly don't do Dems any favors. Negative sentiments about Dems prevail. Few know how Dems have helped them.

And maybe Senate Dems know more about Schumer' competencies than we are privy to & have realistic expectations of what Schumer can do as *Minority* Leader.
November 12, 2025 at 2:45 PM
When you see a PAC that's only focused on attacking Democrats and you note a clear upward pattern on Google trends for the word AIPAC.

AIPAC has been weaponized toward leftists the same way Soros was weaponized toward MAGA.
November 11, 2025 at 10:27 PM
That must be why, when Dems get even a thin majority, they pass legislation to help... the American people.

Dark money must have really wanted investments in Head Start, homelessness, & Medicaid Expansion. It's weird that the even more beholdened GOP don't even bother to help. They harm.
