Atmospheric river remnants through 2055 UTC / 12:55 PM PST Friday afternoon.

Here in my part of Metro Vancouver this "river" dropped 89 mm of rain. Elsewhere, dramatically higher.

As we see in this sequence of GOES-18 shots, another event, liklely to hit Sunday-Monday, is taking shape to the E.

Remnants of the atmospheric river events of the past three days continue to maintain a fairly coherent shape, albeit drifting northward, as they cross into BC and WA state. Dry day today in Metro Vancouver. This sequence shows data through 4:35 PM PST.

Latest atmospheric river sequence through 11:45 PM. "River" maintaining a remarkably stable track, which is not good news for areas of WA State facing record stream levels and flooding. Some flooding, evacuations in BC's Fraser Valley east of Vancouver as well. Rain has eased off in Metro Vancouver.
